Description

Build major and minor chords on the piano, starting on white keys only. Read or listen to the question, then count by half-steps to build each chord with the correct intervals. Drag markers onto the piano keys to form the answer. For best learning, this deck may be worked on at the piano, with the student playing each answer on the keyboard to check the major/minor sound before clicking the green "Submit" button.. Half of the questions show the root of the chord on the keys, and the student chooses the remaining keys to complete the chord. The remaining questions name the chord and the student must choose all three keys. Two teaching cards and two guided examples appear at the beginning of every round, after which 10 randomized cards give the student a new challenge to play every time. Audio and written instructions are given for each card. Alt-text is provided for images and sound. This deck is ideal for students who are learning how to build chords on the piano. Works well with Primer through Level 3 of most method books series, and with RCM Levels Preparatory B through RCM 3 Great for online or in-person piano lessons, theory classes, music classes, music lab, take-home activities, homeschooling, device-based learning.
