Description: This resource has been created to help ELL newcomers learn over 50 English words commonly found in a home setting. Similar to a vocabulary picture dictionary, but better! Learners click on items to hear the word. This is especially helpful for ELLs whose native language does not use the western alphabet. Learners click to explore several rooms in a house. They can click to hear the name of an item as many times as they need to do so. When learners feel ready to practice, they answer questions. Each question is a multiple-choice question with two pictorial answer options. The questions include clickable audio to hear the name of the item that they are trying to find. The 60 cards in the deck include 3 instruction pages provided with English and Spanish audio. The 50+ vocabulary words are presented on m/c question pages. Enjoy!
