Students that struggle with visual perception may have difficulties with reading, handwriting, spelling, maths, organisation, copying from the board, navigating around the environment, sequencing letters and patterns, remembering instructions, focus and attention. Complete 5 Tasks for each of the following areas: . Visual Discrimination: Recognise exact characteristics and features of forms. Visual Spatial Relationships: To perceive objects position in space using sight. Visual Memory: The ability to remember for immediate recall the characteristics of an object or form. Form Constancy: The ability to recognise objects as they change shape, size or orientation. Visual Sequential Memory: The ability to remember forms or characters in the correct order. Visual Figure Ground: Distinguish an object from a busy background. Visual Closure: The ability to visualise a complete whole picture when given incomplete information or a partial picture.
