About me: <p>I'm a special education middle school math teacher who loves technology! </p> <p> </p> <p>I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade special education math for 15+ years. Teaching is my second career. I was a computer programmer for 12 years before I decided to stay home with my children. When it was time to return to the workforce, I started out working as a paraprofessional and discovered I loved the world of education, so I went back to school to get my teaching certification. My certifications are Elementary K-5, Teacher of Students with Disabiities, Middle School ELA and Middle School Mathematics. I also have my masters degree in Applied Technology in Education.</p> <p> </p> <p>I use Boom cards with my students and they love them! That's what made me decide to become a Boom cards author.</p>
